Refactoring Java at Gateway NFJS

I am about to give a new Refactotum talk at the Gateway NFJS show, this time refactoring Java code in JRuby. You can download the slides here.

Along the way the talk generalizes Bob Lee's continuous tax idea, and shows how it can be applied at a project planning level.

InfoWorld has a nice article on the opening expert panel from the Rich Web Experience. I am cited once, on a subject dear to my heart--better test automation for rich web applications. The library I mentioned is the Crosscheck Browserless Testing Framework. Check it out.
