This apples to oranges comparison is sure to enrage partisans of various technologies. The authors' inept analysis doesn't match the graph at all, but the graph sure is interesting, if you believe it.

    I outperform my estimates all the time. I just say it’ll take me a year to do anything! :-) It’s good they are so very objective. And I’m glad they italicized that their actual Grails performance outperforms their estimates. I feel much better now.

    Honestly .. if anyone can show me, I’d like to see another study that actaully tries to benchmark productivity of the various platforms. Most of the stuff out there is hot air .. this, imo, is not.
