This Week in Refactoring

  • Posted By Stuart Halloway on July 16, 2007

Tomorrow at erubycon I will be presenting the first installment of "This Week in Refactoring." For each installment, I will take an existing open source project, analyze part of the code base, and contribute or commit a set of suggested refactorings.

This week's refactoring project is the Typo blog engine. I have submitted the refactorings under Trac 1131, along with a slideshow showing what I did.

Thanks for the great work. I was unable to open pdf file which you posted on typo trac, on adobe reader 8. Thanks

    Hi,

Thank you for this work, and the patch you’ve submitted as well, it worked like a charm.

I’m working on tests issues (may come from Rails as it worked like a charm a few days ago), and I commit your code.

Hi there, looking forward to seeing the PDF. I couldn’t open it either in OS X’s Preview. Any chance you could re-upload it? Thanks!
