  • Posted By Stuart Halloway on April 05, 2006

Over the next two weeks, we will be reviewing Ajax books, and putting together our list of “must-have” books for developers. The first review is already posted here. We’ll be raffling off a set of the must-have books at the next run of the Pragmatic Studio: Ajax

Let us know what books you’d like to see reviewed.

I think Head Rush Ajax would be an interesting book to review. I have two head first books, and the writing style really helped injecting pure knowledge in my brain.

We noticed that your blog have some Ruby and Ruby On Rails releated content, and that is why we would like to invite you to register yourself and your blog at RubyCorner, a directory of Ruby related blogs: http://www.rubycorner.com/ We like to think about RubyCorner as a "meeting place" for the community, also as a "focal point" where the people new to this technology can quickly tune into the pulse of the community. Registering your blog will help build a valuable resource for this growing community.

I have been wondering about good relevant Javascript books with all these new changes in how we write javascript. I will certainly look forward to see what sort of list you compile.

Head Rush is the next one I'm working on; expect it by week's end. Anybody else have a suggestion?

I am definitely looking for a new Javascript reference book. Maybe look to review a few solid reference books that are up-to-date. My current reference book is from 2001!
